For Sale: Wallace Berman Poster / Poem promo printed by John Martin, 1967.

Description

Wallace Berman and John Martin collaborated in 1967 to produce a limited edition print titled POSTER / POEM. (I’ve also seen it titled Untitled (Booster Bng)). This was a pre-Black Sparrow Press John Martin publication of a lithographed Berman print published in an edition of 385 numbered copies: 100 were signed/ numbered; 285 were not.

This promo / mailer(?) for POSTER / POEM, is, in my opinion, more scarce than the print itself — both versions of the print currently being offered for sale on various platforms.

I’ve only seen this promo piece offered for sale one other time a long time ago. Other than this example, I can’t find one currently being offered online.
