Description

A serigraph is a type of fine art print made using the silkscreen printing technique, where ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto a surface (such as paper, fabric, or canvas) to create the image. The term “serigraph” is often used when referring to handmade, limited edition, fine art prints, to distinguish them from more commercial or industrial screen printing.

These three serigraphs are “overs” that were to be tipped in to the Black Sparrow Press limited editions of Charles Bukowski’s work: the bug from the 426 issued for Bone Palace Ballet; the woman from the 376 issued for Reach for the Sun; and the Crumb drawing is from the 426 issued for The Captain Is Out To Lunch…
