The Movie: “Barfly” by Charles Bukowski modern first edition

I remember going to see Barfly during its initial theatrical run.

I remember it well, because immediately after I went straight to Changing Hands to see what this Bukowski guy was all about. For me, I guess you could call it The Beginning of The End. Film based on Buk’s early years, before finding fame as a poet, and his life with Jane. Good stuff, and a great addition to your Buk collection…especially if you’re not ready to pay hundreds more for the signed, limited ed. More below for book’s description.
