Description
The 15th Annual 200 Mile Bobby Ball Memorial Race took place on Sunday, November 22, 1964, at the Phoenix International Raceway in Arizona. This event was part of the USAC National Championship series, attracting top open-wheel racers of the era. The race commemorated Bobby Ball, a talented driver from Phoenix who tragically passed away in 1954 due to injuries sustained in a racing accident.
Like most souvenir programs from this era, this one includes information and statistics about participating racers (A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones and Rodger Ward — among others); details about the Phoenix International Raceway track; the race schedule and event background; as well as cool, period-specific ads from sponsors and local businesses. A really nice program capturing the essence of the event and its participants.
A tangible connection to the rich history of motorsports.
